This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or make a purchase from gebeyet.

WHAT PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT

When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device.

Additionally, as you browse the Site, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site. We also use Google Analytics to help us understand how our customers use gebeyet. How Google uses your Personal Information.

Finally, we may also share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful requests for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.

BEHAVIOURAL ADVERTISING

We use your Personal Information to provide you with targeted advertisements or marketing communications we believe may be of interest to you.

YOUR RIGHTS

You have the right to access the personal information we hold about you and to ask that your personal information is corrected, updated, or deleted. If you would like to exercise this right, please contact us.

Additionally, we note that we are processing your information in order to fulfil contracts we might have with you (for example if you make an order through the Site), or otherwise to pursue our legitimate business interests listed above. Please note that your information will be transferred globally.

DATA RETENTION

When you place an order through the Site, we will maintain your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information.

MINORS

The Site is not intended for individuals under the age of 18.

Suke Mobile App Privacy Notice

This section describes how the Suke mobile app handles your data. It is separate from the practices described above, which apply to the gebeyet.com website.

What Suke Stores On Your Device

Suke is built to work offline. Your shop's products, sales, credit book, supplier records, expenses, and photos are stored locally on your device in its own private database. This information does not leave your device unless you turn on Cloud Sync.

Camera

Suke asks for camera access to scan product barcodes and to let you attach a photo to a product. Product photos are stored only on your device and are not currently uploaded, even if Cloud Sync is turned on.

Cloud Sync (Optional)

If you choose to turn on Cloud Sync, available on the Premium and Advanced plans, Suke creates an account using the email address and password you provide, and sends your shop's business records, such as products, sales, customers, and supplier balances, to our servers over an encrypted connection so they can be restored on another device.

Product photos are not included in Cloud Sync. Cloud Sync is off by default and only activates when you turn it on.

Your Customers And Staff

If you record customers in the credit book, Suke stores their names and phone numbers, and the names of any staff you add. If Cloud Sync is on, these are synced with the rest of your shop's records. We use them only to provide the app to you and never contact your customers or staff ourselves.

The Remind via SMS button opens your phone's own messaging app with a pre-filled message; the message is sent by you, from your phone, and does not pass through our servers.

Notifications

Suke can notify you when a product's stock runs low. These alerts are generated and shown entirely on your device; no data is sent to us to produce them.

No Advertising Or Analytics

Unlike the gebeyet.com website described above, the Suke mobile app does not use Google Analytics, does not show ads, and does not share your data with any third party for advertising.

Your Control Over Your Data

You can delete a product, customer, sale, or any other record directly in the app at any time. Uninstalling the app removes everything stored locally on your device.

If you used Cloud Sync, please contact us to have your synced data deleted from our servers.

CHANGES

We may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons.
